Question:
How do you make baked tortilla chips from corn tortillas? I made some, but they were hard and tough.

Answer:
So you wanna cut them evenly. I find cutting them with a piece of cutter into eight pieces. Uh, so they're a nice size. I put them into a 400 or 425 degree oven. I cook them for five minutes at the two and a half minute point, I turn them over with some tongs and then cook them and then take one out to test. And if it snaps and breaks and makes a familiar sound that you, that kind of registers, uh, with the tortilla, then I know they're done. I've also put them in the air fryer. I finally burn much too quickly. So spacing the cut pieces out is a perfect way to, uh, to cook them. I would suggest doing that.
