Question:

Can you address cooking methods to use and specific ingredients to stay away from and modifications needed for someone with Familial Hypercholesterolemia?
— Kathleen Watson
Answer:
So if you read, uh, prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Dr. Calwell, be Zelton, the book was written in 2009, and Enson wrote these recipes. And in 2009, the horizon of everything that was plant-based was very different than it is today because ingredients were, there were no processed foods back then. So I think avoiding any processed foods and making everything from scratch is probably the best thing that you can do. So we're talking lots of greens, lots of grains and legumes. And those three ingredients have report. There are reported results about people's cholesterols dropping exponentially. I'm not a physician, I'm not a registered dietician, but if you read those books, I think you would find that, um, very helpful.
