Question
Sue Baker
Can you suggest any good organic companies that you have used?
Answer
I'm familiar with a company called Organics to You, uh, which is a delivery company in this area now beyond the Portland Metro area here on the West Coast. Uh, I suggest you take a look at your options in your neck of the woods to see what companies are around that, uh, either ship food, right, or will deliver them to you. Um, you know, organic, uh, certified organic or uncertified clean food, right? Are also available at, at farmer's markets and others. Such outlets, uh, you know, these so-called health food stores. I shouldn't say so-called in a disparaging way, but, you know, just the, the generic labeling of health food stores, uh, can be a place to find these as well and have a conversation with the grower. You know, as I mentioned, uh, you can find a lot of clean food that is not necessarily certified organic. And there, I, I meet a lot of farmers that opt not to go down the path of certification because of the expense, uh, the resources that are required to maintain that certification. But what they're producing is otherwise equivalent to a certified organic product. So, have a conversation, get to know what they're producing, and to develop a relationship and some trust right in the, with the producer of your food.
