Question:

A friend of mine grows and cooks with lovage. Where would you use this herb?

— Hilda P J

Answer:

It says that it's kind of like fennel seeds Okay. And reminiscent of both celery and parsley for the intense either. Okay, so, um, it's a little bit less. Seeds are more like fennel seeds and the, the leaves are more like a parsley. Um, so yeah, I mean for the top, just talking about parsley I think is anywhere you'd probably use one of those. If you're looking for something like fennel seeds, um, a lot of people would use those in like sausage mixes as well too. So, um, you know, specifically in St. Patrick's Day doing, um, a uh, oh, uh, the beef, what is it, corn beef, you could could do a version of that even as a plant-based by even using seitan or tofu. I'd probably use seitan because you could cook it and it would hold up a little bit better to be able to use this, the fennel seeds or the, the luggage seeds to be able to work with that a little bit. Uh, again, I have not used that before, but that would probably my best guess on that.
