What is your favorite dessert?

Answer:

I don't know that I have one favorite dessert. And when someone asks me that, I think which of my four grandchildren is my favorite. I don't. I think it's a seasonal thing. I really like my chocolate cake to live for, which was my breakthrough cake. It's the cake that I figured out when I was leaving the traditional kitchen and finally got that one tested. And it's a delicious cake. I also happen to love cookies, and I like a crunchy cookie. I like a crunchy cookie, and I like shortbread as well. This time of the year, almost all times of the year, I don't really eat ice cream in the wintertime, but a baked Alaska on a fudgy brownie, I would say that's pretty close to my favorite. It certainly is my son's favorite.
