Can you share any scone recipes?

Answer:

Well, here's the thing, Lucy. In the course, actually, at task 141, which is in the section on quick breads, there is not a recipe for scone per se, but we talk about scones in detail. The difference between a biscuit, and there are two recipes for biscuits in the course, and a scone is that a scone tends to be, is typically sweeter. You can have savory ones, but typically they're sweeter, and they are made pretty much the same way as a biscuit. So, this was intentional. There are so many recipes in "Essential Vegan Desserts." I used to know the number, I don't recall it anymore. But we want our students, or people going through the course, to learn technique. That's the Ruby way, to learn technique, and then you can figure out from the biscuits that are within the course, and the information that is in this quick breads chapter, how to make scones.
