I live in Cornelius Oregon. I cannot find veal bones anywhere to make veal stock (and thus many sauce derivatives from it) any suggestions on if there is a substitute for veal bones if I can’t find?

So me being plant-based, I haven't had veal in a very long time, but I come from a family of hunters, and we used to use veal quite often. And I just did a quick search for your town, and found that Jacob Mullins Meats on Sus Bauer Road, they're 1415 Sus Bauer Road, actually is a great butcher in your area, and they do processing of wild game as well. So they might not have it in stock all the time, but if you give them a call and say that you're looking for veal bones, during processing time, which, as memory serves, we're getting into hunting season, which means that you're going to have a lot more veal going through the butcher at this time. So they typically aren't going to save all the bones for it. So if you politely ask them and tell them that you're looking for them, they will probably put your name down and give you a call when they get some in, to be able to pass down. So I would definitely give them a call on that. And again, that's Jacob Mullins Meats at 1415 Northwest Sus Bauer Road. And if you just do a search for veal in your area, in Cornelius, Oregon, you should be able to find that pop right up in your search for it. So hope that helps, Justin.
