How can you make a whole wheat flour roux with a minimal amount of olive oil?

Answer:

Well, you know, I make a slurry and a slurry is essentially a little bit of flour and a little bit of water and it's Blended well, and that's what I use to and to soups or even if I'm making something that might be of a Cheesy texture. Sometimes I will use cornstarch to that but you don't need to have the oil. And try it and you're going to see how well making a slurry will work for you. Very good question.
