Fran Costigan - The Baker’s Kitchen
Tools That Make a Difference and the Ones to Avoid
About this Event
Pastry people know the right tools make baking easier, more efficient and more successful. In this live event, we’ll take a close look at the small wares that belong in every baker’s batteries de cuisine from essential measuring tools and mixing bowls to spatulas, whisks, scoops, thermometers, sieves, and some of those clever little gadgets that earn their place in your kitchen. Of course, as November is the month of the Thanksgiving holiday, Chef Fran Costigan, Director of Vegan Pastry at Rouxbe will offer some special tips on what you might need for Thanksgiving.
We’ll talk about what you really need, what you don’t, and how to choose quality tools that work well and last. Whether you’re building your first baker’s kitchen or refining a well-loved collection, this session is all about working smarter and baking better with the tools you have.
