Great, easy-to-make snack that will have you wanting more! My Auntie and I randomly decided to fry some stinging nettle that we had picked, and we LOVED it! Hope you all enjoy!

Gathering the Nettle

Snip off about 1 cup of young stinging nettle tops (more if you are planning on drying extra for tea). Wear gloves, though! The 'stingling' sensation is rather unpleasent...

Cooking the Nettle
Ingredients
1 cup fresh young stinging nettle tops
1 tbsp butter
Heat skillet with 1 tablespoon of butter. When the butter begins to bubble, add the stinging nettle. Cook for about 3 minutes, turning frequently for even browning. remove from heat, and cool on paper towel. Serve on crackers with cream cheese, or plain.
